On request Mardi + Alex host a vineyard lunch at Meadowbank in the Derwent Valley.
Starting with a wander through the vineyard, you can get your hands dirty while we discuss why Meadowbank fruit in particular, and Tasmanian fruit more broadly, is so highly regarded. It is then on to the wine library, for what we like to call the “How to be a wine snob in 45 minutes” class – a light-hearted look at the world of wine, and chance to dig out your favourite wines for lunch.
Having whet the appetite, it is time to settle in for lunch and enjoy your wine with friends, family and food sourced typically from within walking distance.
The Meadowbank Vineyard Experiences includes a tasting session, long-table lunch, wines from the vineyard for each plate, as well as a bottle of your favourite Meadowbank wine for you to take home and continue the fun with (or equivalent price off larger orders).
The Meadowbank Vineyard Experience is $300 per person.
