Welcome to Meadowbank Safety
We wouild like to make your work at Meadowbank as safe as reasonably possible.
In order to work at Meadowbank you will need to follow our induction process outlined below. This section covers information about working at Meadowbank, and the safety systems and procedures we have in place.
Casual Employment:
Before working at Meadowbank you will need to download the Farmsafe App to your phone and complete the questionnaire (Type “farmsafe”and click “search” and the free Farmsafe Safety Induction Tool App will appear).
The Farmsafe App covers general workplace health and safety topics, however there are a few questions specific to Meadowbank. We have provided information on these below in the “Farm Familiarisation” section. Please complete the simple questions in the app and press submit.
If you are unable to download the App, call or email Adrian Hallam (0419583661 adrian@meadowbank.com.au) and we will have a hard copy ready for you prior to starting work at the office (see map below).
Do not hesitate to contact Adrian directly if you have any problems.
Farm Familiarisation:
Meadowbank is located at 652 Meadowbank Rd, Glenora, TAS 7140. It is owned and operated by Gerald Ellis (0419583661 gerald@meadowbank.com.au).
For those not familiar with the farm, the map below provides an idea of where important equipment or sites are located. Familiarise yourself with this map, and ensure that you can identify these when you are on site.
As you can see above, first Aid equipment is stored in the winery kitchen. There are several people trained in first aid on the farm who can help you or your colleague. Contact Ricky Monks (0408994425) or Adrian Hallam (0409583661) if you require first aid assistance.
