Is it possible to be serious about your wine, but not so serious about yourself? We would like to think so. It is why we can pour our heart and soul in to making Ticklebelly wine for you, and then laugh wholeheartedly at Leunig’s tasting notes with you.
At Meadowbank Vineyard most of our fruit is produced for other winemakers, who tend to go on and win some rather prestigious awards (more on that in the Meadowbank Vineyard section).
Occasionally though, we select a small parcel from a very special area in the vineyard to make Ticklebelly. Simply put, it is the wine we love to drink and would love you to enjoy. Only a hundred or so cases are made each vintage, and sometimes not at all.
Despite occasionally being reluctant to share, it is the right thing to do. You can find Ticklebelly in Gerald’s Cellar.
